Chilton and Harwell Campus
Small villages within 30 min. walk of RAL and with bus links to RAL and Didcot. Chilton has a pub with food, and Harwell Campus a convenience store.

Well known university town and birthplace of the iconic Morris Traveller.
There is a string of hotels and guest houses - from the "Green Gables" to the "Lakeside" - along the Abingdon Road, whence you can catch the X32 bus straight to RAL.
