MICE speakers bureau mission

The MICE enterprise is a challenging one in many aspects, one of them being to make our work and experience known to the physics community and beyond. For this reason the Steering group has decided to create a MICE speakers bureau, with mission

• to collect information on forthcoming conferences,
• negotiate talks with the organizers,
• and last but not least propose speakers.

Speakers should be nominated in such a way as to enhance the largest possible participation of the MICE members to public presentations, recognize credit internally, and match the competence of the speakers to the talks to be given. The speakers bureau should report of their activities regularly to the MICE collaboration, and maintain a web page with a repository of presentations by MICE members and some statistics. The mode of operation is likely to be by phone conferences.
