18th MICE Collaboration Meeting

An Installation Meeting will be held on Tuesday 12 June. A PhaseII Costs and Schedule discussion will take place afterwards. Please follow the link to upload/dowload your presentations.

Registration: Please register using this form. You can see a list of registered people here. There will be a registration fee of £45 to cover transport, refreshments and lunch on Saturday 16 June. Registration will take place from 08:30 on Wed/Thu 13/14 June at RAL. Only cash payments in £UK can be accepted.

Accommodation is available at Cosener's House (TCH) in Abingdon or local hotels. You must make your own arrangements for accomodation directly with TCH or the hotel; bookings cannot be made through RAL.

A block of 20 rooms at Cosener's House in Abingdon has been reserved for the nights of Saturday 9 to Sunday 17 June inclusive. These rooms will be held until May 7th. To book one of these rooms please contact Cosener's House directly (coseners@rl.ac.uk) quoting "MICE Collaboration Meeting".

Hotel accommodation in Abingdon is available at the Crown & Thistle or Upper Reaches hotels. Bookings can be made online. To be sure of a room it is advisable to book at least one month in advance. Please mention "Rutherford" when booking.

Check also the Ridgeway House inside RAL campus for a budget solution (the Ridgeway House). Just remember that if you choose this solution you should be independent for transportation.

Transportation: You can find directions to RAL here. Buses will be available for transport between Cosener's House and RAL on meeting days. See multimap.com if you intend to do local travel.

Meeting rooms: The plenary sessions will be in the Pickavance Lecture Theatre (PLT). Conference rooms (CR) 12 and 13 will be available from Sunday 10 to Sunday 17 June from 8am to 6pm for parallel sessions and other meetings. See map for details.

Seminar Room 1 in the Cosener's House will be available for evening meetings.

Computing: Wireless network access will be available in meeting rooms.

Banquet: the dinner is planned for Thursday 14 June at 19:30, at Upper Reaches Hotel. The price is £45.

Program: the agenda is available here. Plenary sessions will start Wednesday morning (June 13) and last through Saturday afternoon (June 16). There will be a Technical Board meeting Thursday afternoon, a Collaboration Board meeting Friday morning and an Executive Board meeting Saturday afternoon.

A software workshop will precede the main collaboration meeting.
