16th MICE Collaboration Meeting

!!! WARNING !!! Following the recent baggage restrictions at UK airports it is higly recommended that you check what can be carried to/from the UK. Registration: Please register using this form. You can see a list of registered people here. There will be a registration fee of £45 to cover transport, refreshments and lunch on Sunday 8 October. Registration will take place from 08:30 on Monday 9 October at RAL. Only cash payments in £UK can be accepted.

Please ensure you register by Wednesday 4 October to enable RAL gate passes to be issued.

Accommodation is available at Cosener's House (TCH) in Abingdon or local hotels. You must make your own arrangements for accomodation directly with TCH or the hotel; bookings cannot be made through RAL.

A block of 20 rooms at Cosener's House in Abingdon has been reserved from Saturday 7 October to Wednesday 12 October inclusive. These rooms will be held until Monday 4 September. To book one of these rooms please contact Cosener's House directly quoting "MICE Collaboration Meeting".

Hotel accommodation in Abingdon is available at the Crown & Thistle or Upper Reaches hotels. Bookings can be made online. To be sure of a room it is advisable to book at least one month in advance. Please mention "Rutherford" when booking.

No block booking has been made for the period of the software workshop which precedes the collaboration meeting; please contact the hotels directly.

Transportation: You can find directions to RAL here. Buses will be available for transport between Cosener's House and RAL on meeting days. See multimap.com if you intend to do local travel.

Meeting rooms: The plenary sessions will be in the Pickavance Lecture Theatre (PLT). Conference rooms (CR) 3, 12 and 13 will be available from Saturday 7 to Wednesday 11 October from 8am to 6pm for parallel sessions and other meetings. See map for details.

Seminar Room 1 in the Cosener's House will be available from Sunday 8 to Thursday 12 inclusive for evening meetings.

Computing: Wireless network access will be available in meeting rooms.

Banquet: There will be a dinner on the evening of Monday 9 October at the Cosener's House. Please indicate your intention to attend when registering. The cost will be £40; only cash payments in £UK can be accepted.

Program: is available here. Plenary sessions will start Sunday morning (Oct 8) and last through Wednesday evening (Oct 11). There will be a Technical Board meeting Monday afternoon, a Collaboration Board meeting Wednesday morning and an Executive Board meeting Wednesday evening (at Cosener's House).

A software workshop will precede the main collaboration meeting.
